After adding a new screened porch onto the rear of their home, these homeowners needed something to fill the recessed space between it and their garage. To make the space as usable as possible, we created a deck that would be able to support a large outdoor table and lead into a future outdoor kitchen area. The deck was extended well past the outer edges of both the garage and porch, allowing for steps along each side. A clipped corner added visual appeal that also focused traffic to a narrower section at the end of the deck, near the future food-prep area.
